Porto Signs Gabri Veiga from Al-Ahli Until 2030

Gabri Veiga has officially transferred from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli to Portuguese giants FC Porto, signing a contract until 2030 with a 65-million-euro buyout clause. Porto acquired 90% of the player's rights for €15 million, with potential add-ons of around €4 million and additional fees to intermediaries. Veiga expressed enthusiasm about the move, highlighting the club's leadership and the motivation to contribute to Porto's success, and he has been in contact with former teammates now at Porto. During his time at Al-Ahli, Veiga played 66 matches, scored 12 goals, and made 10 assists, also helping the club win the Asian Champions League Elite title. Porto is preparing to field Veiga in the upcoming Club World Cup, where they will face teams including Palmeiras, Al-Ahly, and Inter Miami. The signing is seen as a significant long-term investment by Porto ahead of this international competition.
