Qantas A380 Diverts to Baku for Medical Emergency

A Qantas Airbus A380 flight from London to Singapore diverted to Baku, Azerbaijan, after a woman in her 60s suffered a life-threatening cardiac emergency mid-flight. Medical professionals among the passengers stabilized her, and upon landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, she was transferred to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The emergency landing caused the operating crew to reach their maximum duty limits, resulting in the flight being rescheduled for the following day. Qantas arranged accommodations, visas, and support for about 400 stranded passengers.
