Michael Pitt Faces New Sexual Abuse Allegations

Actor Michael Pitt, known for his roles in 'Boardwalk Empire' and 'Dawson’s Creek,' was arrested in Brooklyn on May 2 on charges including first-degree sexual abuse, assault with a weapon, strangulation, and forcible compulsion, allegedly committed against his ex-girlfriend at his Bushwick residence between April 2020 and August 2021. Court documents detail four separate incidents of escalating violence, including sexual assault, attacks with a wooden plank and cinderblock, and strangulation. Pitt pleaded not guilty and was released on $100,000 bail, with his next court appearance scheduled for June 17. His attorneys have denied the allegations, calling them baseless and pointing to the consensual nature of the relationship.
